The Family-to-Family program provides supportive services to west side families who have active cases with the County. In addition, they provide crisis intervention to west side families to prevent the need for County involvement. Informal support and coordination of services for families is done in a team setting which works from family strengths.

An active part of the program is the recruitment of new foster and adoptive homes from west side communities for children. New parents are supported throughout the training, application, and home study process and continuing advocacy and support are given to foster and adoptive parents once a placement has been made.
