West Side Community House is very grateful for a long and wonderful partnership with the United Methodist Church. Founded in 1890 as the Methodist Deaconess Home of Cleveland by the then Methodist Episcopal Church, West Side Community House has a rich history of caring for Cleveland’s west side and responding to the changing needs of its people.

Today, West Side Community House maintains its covenant relationship with the United Methodist Women and is the only United Methodist National Mission Institution in northeast Ohio. United Methodists continue to provide leadership as Board Members and volunteers and generously make contributions to sustain WSCH programs and services to low-income children, families and seniors on Cleveland’s west side.
