Home Delivered & Congregate Meals

Because of the generosity of 257 donors, we were able to raise over $26,000 towards the purchase of a new home delivered meals truck. Special thanks to the Community West Foundation whose generous contribution allowed us to meet our $37,000 goal to purchase the meals truck. With the new truck, we plan to deliver hot meals during the week to over 300 seniors in 2012. Thank you to all who helped make it possible.

Hot, nutritious meals are provided each day at noon in the center. The meals are free with a suggested donation. Meals must be reserved by the Wednesday prior to the week you would like a meal. You must be 60 years of age or older or accompany your spouse who is 60+, OR if younger than 60, be income-eligible with a documented disability in order to qualify.

We also prepare hot meals and deliver them to homebound seniors in the community in our heated catering truck. If you, or someone you know, needs a homebound meal, please call WSCH Senior Program Director, Yvette Medina, at (216) 771-7297, x. 303.
