Welcome to West Side Community House

Founded in 1890, West Side Community House (WSCH) is a mission-driven institution on Cleveland’s west side that values person-oriented services as a means to strengthen the individual, the family, the neighborhood, and the community.

WSCH recognizes that providing social services in a community setting involves serving its program participants with dignity, care and competence so they can feel secure, fortify their family life, and renew their life spirit. By nourishing the growth and development of neighborhood residents – individuals and families, the young and the old, persons from all ethnic and racial backgrounds – WSCH supports the community. And by participating in the activities of the neighborhood, WSCH joins in a vital effort to honor its settlement tradition and forge a new vision with the people, families, and institutions of Cleveland's west side.
